Hello to all,

The club will holding it's annual BBQ on June 8th from 7-10 PM at our usual meeting place. We are asking for a $5.00 donation per adult with minor children admitted free of charge .

June 1st is the dead line to get your donations in.You can mail your checks made payable to HOSARC to: Steve Greenbaum

If you would like to volunteer for set up or clean up or to play chef for a day please contact me at tomflushing3@aol.com.

Setup will begin at 5:30 PM.

At the BBQ we will have our two latest portable radio boxes out for demenstrations.So come out and see how we have spent your dues!

Also I know a few of you have some questions about our last general meeting so we will have a computer up and running to go over a dx cluster one on one with you.

Rob AB2UV will also be discussing our 2010 Field Day operations.If you can't make the June meeting then please email him at rob@abuv.com to sign up and for any questions you may have on FD 2010.

Remember FD takes place June 26th and 27th with setup starting at 9:00 am on the 26th and tear down at 2:00 PM on the 27th.This event is held no matter the weather conditions are so please plan accordingly.

Don't forget to answer any emails you receive on the hamfest as this is our main fund raiser for all of our activities.

Now that we have to rent our meeting place, membership dues are not sufficient to cover our expenditures and we need to put our best face forward and hold a professional hamfest in order to continue holding successful hamfests( I know it helps to have good weather too) that bring in the income we need.

The club is looking for a new club logo design so this summer put on your thinking caps and lets have some ideas in for our September meeting.
